Harold Godwin

Godwin served 34 years as director of pharmacy at the KU Medical Center and 20 years as chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. He has been involved in pharmacy organizations throughout his career and has served as president of the Kansas Pharmacists Association, president of ASHP, president of ACPE, and president of APhA.



Godwin's research has included the development of innovative services in health-system practice and community practice. He has been interested in aspects of leadership development in the profession. From a patient-care standpoint, he has been interested in medication therapy management (MTM), health literacy, and patient medication adherence or compliance.
